Hampshire & Dorset Face to Face Event - Somatic Coaching: Accessing the Wisdom of the Body

This face-face will be led by Eunice in the morning and for the first part of the afternoon.  The remaining time will be used to engage in reflective practice in pairs, small groups and wider discussion to build on the mornings session - this latter part of the day will be led by Julia Carden.  Refreshments and a light lunch will be provided as part of the cost.  Please let the organisers know if you have any dietary requirements on hampshireanddorset.network@emccuk.org

Dr Eunice Aquilina

Dr Eunice Aquilina is a certified somatic coach, coach supervisor and author, who is passionate about enabling practitioners to learn and grow.

Supervising executive coaches (both internal and independent) as well as OD consultants since 2003, Eunice’s approach is grounded in somatic methodology and practice combined with behavioural psychology, learning and change theories.

Her work is inspired by her own journey around learning to be present to the inner voice of wisdom and her experience leading in a corporate environment.

Her first book was published in 2016. Embodying Authenticity: A Somatic Path to Transforming Self, Team and Organisation was published in 2017. Her second book, Stepping Into Your Power was published in 2021. She has also written a number of articles as well as contributing chapters to books on coaching and supervision.

Dr Julia Carden
The event will be facilitated by Dr Julia Carden. Julia is an EMCC Master Coach, ICF PCC and accredited coaching supervisor, she heads up the Professional Certificate in Coaching Supervision at Henley Business School, and is passionate about coaching supervision believing that it is has been the most influential factor in her own development as a coach.  In addition, she teaches on the Professional Certificate in Coaching and MSc at Henley.  Alongside her teaching role she runs a private coaching and coaching supervision practice.  Her work is underpinned by her PhD research which explored the role of self-awareness in the development of the coach.
