Breaking bias: creating inclusive coaching, mentoring and supervision

This event, for EMCC organisation members only, is designed for coaches, mentors, leaders, and supervisors who want to elevate their business practices and personal growth.

It is for professionals committed to fostering inclusive environments, building cultural competence, and challenging their own biases. Often, there is a fear of speaking openly about diversity, inclusion, and our biases. However, how can we address and overcome them if we don't explore and acknowledge them?

By attending, participants will learn to think differently, open their minds, and discover innovative approaches to coaching and leadership, enhancing their ability to support diverse teams and individuals. This session is essential for those seeking to improve their professional effectiveness and personal development, creating more impactful and inclusive relationships in all areas of life.

Guest speaker

Coretta Hine is a qualified coach with over 25 years of experience, specialising in leadership and diversity and inclusion consultancy. She has an MSc in Leadership and Management from Warwick Business School, and advanced certifications in life coaching, Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), and dyslexia workplace-based assessment.

Driven by a passion for helping individuals unlock their full potential, Coretta focuses on fostering resilience, self-belief, and empowerment. Whether they are personal or professional goals, she is dedicated to guiding her clients toward becoming the best versions of themselves. Coretta has initiated and led leadership programmes to increase the number of ethnic minorities in leadership positions.
