Thank you to Ivan, Michael and Philippa

Ivan Beaumont

In the past few weeks, we have said goodbye to three members of our Executive Board. We’re taking this opportunity to thank them for the huge amounts of time and energy they have given to EMCC UK, and to wish them well for the future.

Ivan Beaumont

After two years of service on the Board of Directors, we would like to share our appreciation for the time, energy and commitment of EMCC UK President, Ivan Beaumont (above).

Ivan has been a longstanding member of and a hugely valuable contributor to EMCC UK, initially through his work as our Director for Digital, and then in his role as President. His passion and unwavering commitment to our membership have been exemplary. Ivan has made significant contributions to our organisation during his tenure, including through his leadership of our Team Coaching special interest group.

Ivan has also championed a forward-thinking vision for EMCC UK, leading up to the successful recruitment of several directors, and advocating for the implementation of a new system and website to better support and serve our members.

Michael Christoforou

We also bid farewell to Michael Christoforou (above) in his role as EMCC UK Vice President, and would like to express our deep gratitude for the almost two years of service he has offered EMCC UK as a volunteer.

During his time on the Board of Directors, Michael has made a lasting impact by overseeing critical areas such as finances, governance, new contracts, and the line management of our operations team. His leadership and continued efforts have helped guide us through some important decisions and continued growth.

Michael’s commitment to sound financial stewardship has ensured our resources have been managed responsibly, while his keen oversight of governance has kept us on a path of transparency and accountability. Thanks to his efforts, we’ve entered into new partnerships and contracts that have strengthened our foundation for future success. Equally important has been his leadership of the operations team.

Philippa Eddie

We are also saying goodbye to and expressing our appreciation for Philippa Eddie (above), whose term as a Non-Executive Director has come to an end after almost three years.

During her time with us, Philippa has worked closely with the EMCC Board, and her insightful contributions have helped to shape our journey. She has been a passionate advocate for neurodiversity, providing insight and inspiration to our community by initiating and setting up the Neurodiversity special interest group in 2022, which continues to be an invaluable resource for many of our members.

On behalf of EMCC UK, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Ivan, Michael and Philippa for their contributions, and wish them well in their future endeavours.
